Successes
Frederick douglass had many successes in his life as a slave, person, and abolitionist. His success as a slave was how he managed to escape from his plantation. He had many successes as a person also. Such as how he could read and write, which not many African-American's could do. As an Abolitionist he changed many lives and helped many enslaved African-Americans to Freedom.

Failures
Even with Douglass' many successes he also had some failures. Such as going to jail multiple times while speaking for civil rights. He also had many speaches that failed but he also had many successful speaches.

Consequences
Consequences Douglass had were sort of like his failures. He went to jail trying to stand up for African Americans. Also alot of slaves died listening to him trying to escape but it was a good thing because alot also escaped to freedom.
